Micropiles

The principal core business performed by SITE Canada involves the execution of micropiles. Among these tasks the most important part involves deep foundations in structures where piles cannot be used for many reasons (due to rock-soil layer, work at reduced heights, access restrictions for large machinery, presence of overhead power lines, or the need to drill tough existing foundations, etc.).

To carry out all the above work SITE Canada have a fleet of Hydraulic Drill Rigs of medium and large capacity, as well as reduced size equipment to access and carry out work in areas with reduced heights, parking lots, etc.

Soil Anchors

Sometimes the micropiles are designated as soil anchors when applied as a passive element in a grid in structure base slabs to avoid the uplift effect due to the presence of a permanent water table level.
